Fun at the park

Kaeley and I went to the park to hang out.. We went down on the trails and watched the fountain. Kaeley was thirsty so as you can see she got her dress all wet and had to take it off and go in her underwear. She had some much fun running around just in her underwear, if it was up to her she would be naked all the time. You can tell she was a summer baby. She hates socks and winter cloths, I dread this battle when it get cold out.

Getting back into the swing of things

Well this week I have been back to work, my doctor has not been there yet. Tomorrow we start seeing patients again. What an adjustment I was off for 2 weeks, and the went by so fast. It so hard to get into the swing of things. I have to remember to lay our cloths out the night before, let Kaeleys lunch and supper ready to take for the next day. Make myself notes of things not to forget. All I have to say it was so nice to be home and have no set schedule. Anyways I cant believe school time is coming so fast. I tell ya kids grow up so fast. Kaeley is starting her 2nd year of preschool. She is excited to go, which is a big change from last year. She will be going 3 days a week. We are still struggling with her to hold a pencil or crayon correctly, she holds it with her fist or 4 fingers and just doesn't grasp it yet, so then its hard for her to write letters or have control of her coloring etc. I hope she gets it soon. Anyways well see what this year brings. Isn't it amazing how little kids think up stories. Kaeley went on and on today for 20 minutes about some story and imaginary mouse and they were having Christmas etc etc, she talking a mile a minute. Where to they come up with this stuff. Well that's all that is new for now. Until next time.

Our Picnic Outting

Since I was on vacation this week, on Friday we were all home together because Jamie doesnt work on Friday's he works on Sat. This was a special treat, because usually we are only all together on Sundays which is a full day with church and visiting Jamies Grandma. So we decided to go to Carpo Park and have a picnic. Kaeley was so excited we packed a picnic basket with peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, grape tomato's, grapes. While we were eating this green stick looking bug hung out with us. Later Jamie let it crawl up his arm. Next we played kickball for awhile, until we had a melt down, because mommy got the ball away from Kaeley. She is still a sore looser, If things don't go her way. Next we took a little walk, and then decided to take some pictures for fun. We had a great time. It was a beautiful day. Some of the sweet things Kaeley has been saying lately that I want to remember are. " Mommy your such a good friend". She will put her arms around Jamie and I and pull our heads together and say" I love you guys so much". We found a Caterpillar outside the other day and she was letting it crawl up her legs and arms, and called it her little cutie pie. We sat on the swing and read him books. I wish I could record her little voice while she talks, its so precious and priceless. I could never image being a mom could bring me so much joy and change my life forever.

Our little vacation

This was our little vacation we do every year. We go to Chucky Cheese and to a zoo. Kaeley loves Chucky Cheese. We had a good time, even though she cant eat the food there, she enjoys playing all the games and loves to hug Chucky. He wasn't out at all, so Jamie asked where he was and if he could come out, he was out for 10 min and never came out again, we were there for 3 hours. It was a bit ridiculous that he was only out with the kids one time in 3 hours. We then went to Niabi Zoo. It's a small zoo but we have fun. Kaeley loved looking at the snakes and her pigs were her favorite of course at the petting zoo. The train ride was the highlight of the trip. We had a nice time together.

Haircut Day

I have been enjoying my time off with Kaeley. This week has been relaxing and I love being home with her. She is so sweet and seems so happy to have me home, what kid wouldn't. Today we went to get our hair cut. Kaeley has never wanted her hair cut. It is to the middle of her back. She was so funny, sitting in the chair waiting with me, we were looking at hair style books and she was pointing out the ones she liked. When it was time for her hair cut, she got right up there and held so still, sucking on a sucker or course. We had 3 1/2 inches cut off, it was hard for me to see all that hair cut off, but it needed to be done. It will grow again. She doesn't like to have it put up much, so it gets to be a rats nest fast, hopefully this will help some. She seemed like such a grown up today. Looking at hairstyles, telling me how beautiful my hair looked when I was done. Telling the hairstylist that she loved her haircut and thank you so much. It was a fun little outing. It really made me realize today that I could easily be a stay at home mom. We really have bonded alot this week.

Scare of my life

Today I feel like the worst mother ever. Kaeley has food allergy's to egg and milk products. She is highly sensitive and even breaks out from residue. This weekend she stayed with a friend and she by accident ate gold fish which are a NO NO. They have milk and egg in them. She was given Benadryl right away but only got 1 little break out on her face and had a runny nose. So today I thought maybe she is growing out of it, so I put a drop of coffee creamer on her tongue and she was ok then I put a drop of milk on her cheek and she didn't break out, so then I gave her a tiny piece of cheese about the size of my little fingernail, and within seconds she started acting weird, saying her tongue felt funny and that she felt sick she was holding her chest. Her lips seemed a little swollen and her speech was slower. I freaked out, and gave her benadryl right away, I keep making her stick her tongue out and talk to me. I gave her a second dose which she refused and I had to sit on her and make her take it. I got her in the car and we headed for the hospital, on the way there she seemed the same, she was blowing bubbles and had alot of mucus so we went to my mother in laws which is close the hospital, I got her out of the car and vomited mucus. The hives on her face where going away, but her heart was beating so fast. She finally came out of it, but then her stomach was hurting her so bad, she would not eat or drink anything and was just rolling around on the floor. It was a horrible experience, all I could think was what if she dies on the way to the hospital. Think God she is alright. I learned my lesson, to let the doctors re test her if I think she could be growing out of her allergy's and not do it myself. It was the worse feeling in the world. I am so thankful she is ok. I just pray she grows out of this.
