Kaeley's Daddy Daughter Dance

Jamie and Kaeley go to the Daddy Daughter Dance in Mt. Pleasant every year. They have so much fun. She started going when she was 3 years old. They have dancing, games, prizes etc. The girls get dressed up in dresses if they want and most of them do. Here are a few pictures.

Just to give you a update, I am finally getting over my sinus infection etc, just have a cough now, but feel a lot better. Kaeley woke up Thrus. morning with a tummy ache, and threw up 4 times that day, couldn't keep anything down, and crying that her stomach hurt so bad, she is running a fever also. She didn't sleep well Thrus. night and Friday woke up with the same pain in her stomach more on the right side, I thought it could be her appendix, so Jamie took her to the doctor on Friday. He said she had a bad case of the stomach flu and was dehydrated. She wont eat anything and in he last 2 days has drank only about 4-6 oz of water, she is so weak and just lays around. I sure this passes soon, I had more then anything is seeing my baby sick.

I have to sell my oak daybed and papa son chair to make room for the baby. If you know anyone that would be interested please let me know, I need to get rid of it soon, so I can try to get a nursery put together and paint etc.

I am now 22 weeks and on Tue will be 23 weeks pregnant. The time is sure flying by. I can feel the baby move now, and it is the best feeling in the world. I love it. I love being pregnant. What a blessing.

Hey I am still doing my photography so with the weather getting nice if anyone wants pictures let me know and pass the word on.

5 months pregnant now!!!!!

Hello everyone.
Just wanted to give you an update. We are doing good. I'm recovering from a nasty cold. I had pink eye, sinus infection and bronchitis. Been very sick for 8 days now. Just starting to feel better. Well we had an ultrasound last week, and everything seemed good, and the tech thought it looked like a little boy!!!!!!!!!. Actually Jamie and I kinda wanted another girl but maybe its because that all we know. One of each will be a great blessing and a new experience.
My migraine headaches are getting better. Thank the Lord. I'm growing a lot. I started out weighing 94# and now I weight 113#. That's 19# already. Wow, I only gained 25# total with Kaeley. I guess you gain more with your second baby. As you know from my last post Kaeley is all about a little sister. I told her that night we found out it was a boy, and her little lip started quivering and she started crying no mommy its my little sister, I of course emotional as am I'm lost it and started bawling. She didn't say anything else. I prayed that God would help her deal with this. The next day Jamie told her what the doctor said about the baby being a boy, she didn't say anything. He told her that no matter what we love all baby's that God gives us no matter if its a boy or girl. Kaeley told her Grandpa later on that day. I'm so confused I thought it was my little sister. Now she will say she is having a brother. So I'm hoping she is adapting in her own way. I don't know how much she understands completely.
Well we had school conferences at Kaeleys preschool. She has improved greatly this year. She is doing good, doing for herself a lot more and becoming more confident that she can do things for and by herself. She is doing well working on writing her name even though she still needs work with her letter e. Her teacher thought she might not be quite ready for Kindergarten yet, which is fine we have decided not to send her until next year. She would be one of the youngest in her class and we want her to be more sure of herself and a little older. With the new baby this will give her some time to adjust to everything. So she will have another year of preschool.
Well I better get some rest. Back to work tomorrow. Sat March 14th is my 32nd Birthday!!!!!!!!!!! Jamie and I are going to take Kaeley and eat at the Japanese place. Yum

WHAT IF ITS A BOY

Kaeley is so excited about the baby but she talks to it and says all the time it's her baby sister and that she knows its a girl. She wont let it go. When I tell her we dont know what God is giving up that it could be a girl or boy and that we will love either one. She says no mom say its a girl. I just hope if it is a boy she will love it and not resent it. Im still trying to image what life will be like with 2 kids instead of one, it's just be Kaeley for almost 5 years now.
Last night Kaeley wanting to put clips in my hair so I let her brush my hair and put this little hair clips in, she said she wanted to put 10 in. When she was through there was 50 little clips stuck all over my head. She keep saying how beautiful I looked when I knew I looked like Frankenstein haha. She had so much fun taking them all out by pulling them out and I more I told her it hurt the more she laughed and thought it was so funny. She has really picked up on her V-tech games and V-Motion games. We got V-Motion for Christmas, she didn't have any desire to play them and then one day decided she wanted to play them and she can do them by herself. Kids sure do what they want when they make up there minds. If anybody has an advise I'd love to hear it. We are still debating on what to do with Kaeley next year for school. She has a summer birthday, and we have talked about not starting her in kindgarden until next year when she is 6 years old. We are still going to take her to open house and have her screening done to see where is falls, but Im so confused. I dont what her to be bored in another year of preschool but I dont what to start her in school her she's not quite ready or if she will struggle. I would rather her be ahead a little. Well better go for now.

We had a wonderful x-mas and new years. Kaeley had a lot of fun this Christmas she understood things better this year, and was so excited about Santa Claus coming. She tore into the presents, in the previous years she would ripe one little piece of wrapping paper off at a time and it would take forever to open 1 gift, this year went alot better. We had a wonderful surprise this holiday. We are expecting!!!!!!!! Kaeley told (Jamie's Parents on x-mas it was so cute to hear her say mommy got a baby in her tummy. Kaeley has know about the baby since Thanksgiving and kept it a secret until x-mas. Jamie's mom and dad watch her 3 days a week and she didn't tell them anything. She is great at keeping a secret. We are all so excited. It finally happened. I have been feeling good, bearly any morning sickness. I am now 13 weeks ago, and starting to show now. I love being pregnant it is such a great feeling.

Funny things kids say

I haven't blogged in a while and need to write down some funny things Kaeley has been saying. When Kaeley is trying to be funny or make someone laugh she will say "Im teasing her up" It's so funny to hear her say it. If she wants something she will say "mom come listen to my ear". And she will bearly whisper. Usually she wants a cookie or a piece of candy. It's so cute the little things that they come up with. Im excited for Thanksgiving, I am having it at my house again. I enjoy making the turkey etc. I cant believe Christmas is just a around the corner. I wish you all a wonderful Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas. Thank you also for your love and supporting me while I start my photography. It means the world to me. Shawna
